A Taxi ride from the centre of Bilbao will take around 15 minutes. It is not a large airport but comfortable and holds both domestic as international flights. Getting there and away
By own vehicle
From the centre of Bilbao there are 4 different ways to getting to the airport. The quickest is vía the Artxanda Tunnels which connects the centre of Bilbao with the airport in just 15 minutes.
If coming eastwards or westwards along the A-8 the airport is clearly signposted. The motorway has a turning off for the airport.
By bus
Bizkaibus bus company operates a bus that leaves from Termibus bus station (right next to San Mamés underground station) every 30 minutes during peak time. It also stops in Gran vía, Plaza Moyua and Alameda Recalde. The bus number is A3247
