Cantabrian Flag

Cantabria, located in mid Green Spain, Asturias on the west and the Basque Country towards the east. Its main city is Santander located on the coast which spreads along towards the Magdalena Peninsula. It has a ferry port that connects with Plymouth (UK) in just 24 hours.

As in neighbouring Asturias, the best of Cantabria is beyond the cities, the beauty lies in its natural formations; such as: the fantastic beaches that spread all along the coast, and of course the impressive Picos de Europa National Park in Southwest Cantabria.
Cabárceno wildlife park is set in amazing orography which helps separate different species that can easily be seen; definetily a great family outing.
