Rías Bajas, the southern coast of Galicia

Without doubt the southern coast of Galicia has so much to offer the visitor: its four great estuaries, its beautiful beaches, breathtaking scenery - woods and green fields which slope down to the sea alternate with cliffs and sandy beaches - and of course its irresistible gastronomy.

These fishing grounds are the most important on the Iberian peninsula, it is easy to catch fresh fish and shellfish of excellent quality.

The four estuaries are:

Pontevedra estuary
Vigo estuary
